Introduction to ASB

Aimed at those officers who take initial reports of ASB or require a better understanding of ASB and how it is dealt with by the organisation, or those simply requiring a refresher. The course will enable the delegate to understand what ASB is, what effect it has, and how it should be responded to. It will cover investigation techniques, tools to deal with ASB, the importance of record keeping, working with partners and supporting victims and witnesses. 

   On completion of the course students will be awarded 7 hours of CPD

Case management principles

Aimed at those officers who deal with ASB cases as part of their role. The course will enable delegates to understand the methodology of good case management, and will include investigation techniques, assessing a case, appropriate responses, intervening early, and evidence-gathering, record keeping, preparing a case for court and victim/witness support. 

   On completion of the course students will be awarded 7 hours of CPD

Antisocial Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014

The course will focus on how and where the new measures in the Act impact on ASB practice. It is aimed at officers from all Community Safety, Criminal Justice and Housing Organisations. Covering Injunctions , Community Protection Notices, Closure Orders, Criminal Behaviour Orders, Dispersal Powers, Public Places Protection Orders and the new absolute and discretionary grounds for possession, the course also introduces delegates to the Community Remedy, Community Trigger and shares good practice guidelines.

   On completion of the course students will be awarded 7 hours of CPD
